Backorder Situation

There have been huge issues with Stampin'Up! shipments lately and they hope to back to normal shortly. Here is a message that was posted today;

Our employees are working hard to master our new system, and though they are still learning the ins and outs, we are pleased with the progress. In fact, we are catching up on shipping and anticipate that we will be back within our normal shipping time frame sometime next week!

We realize that our backorders are a great frustration for you, as they are for us. We are working to improve the situation. We anticipate being caught up on stamp set production next week, eliminating current stamp set backorders.

Though backorders and shipping are two separate issues, they do impact each other. As we master our new system and catch up on our shipping, backordered products will ship more quickly once they arrive in our warehouse. Please be aware that due to unstable conditions throughout the world, some items take longer to clear through customs than normal. We appreciate your patience as we work through these backorder situations.

I called in this week (regarding an order from December 21st that I'm still waiting on), and was told that not only have they been working weekends, they have shut their shipping lines for new orders down for 2 days trying to get out just the backorders. So as much as waiting sucks they are working at fixing the problems. Lets keep our fingers crossed that everything is well stocked and orders are picked quickly with the release of the new catalogue!!!!!
