100 invites

This is what the pieces look like for the wedding invitations that I'm making. Everything has been cut, scored and embossed 100 times. Tonight I will be stamping, and with the envelopes included I will be stamping the lily image 500 times. Yikes!!! Then it's on to printing the inside and the r.s.v.p. cards, and then gluing everything together. Lots of work, but I feel very honoured that I was asked, and the couple is worth every second of my time!!!

The assembled invite is on the right side of the picture. It is a gatefold card, which means once you slide the band off, the card opens up on each side. I had an awful time getting the score lines to be even so some of the invites have a slight gap along the center and others slightly over lap. I'm sure it won't matter to anyone but me, but it bugs me none the less.

The reply cards are cut out with the top note die on the Big Shot. I will be stamping on these and then running them through the printer. I purchased the medium sized envelopes for these because if you go with a smaller envelope you will have to pay more postage. I learned that lesson the hard way when I made baby shower invitations.

I will post more pictures once I have everything assembled, but in the meantime I wanted to share what I was working on.
